Coming up at Laughing Stock 29th July at the British Legion!

COMEDIAN CRAIG CAMPBELL HTS TAVISTOCK Comedian Craig Campbell is to headline at Tavistock on Thursday July 29 and fans are advised to see him live in ‘intimate’ surroundings, before his career goes stellar.
Currently supporting Frankie Boyle on his sell-out UK tour, the Canadian ‘wildman’ and Devon resident is to headline for one night only at Laughing Stock at the Legion.
The events organisers have been told: “God knows how you managed that.”

The laid back comedian is a master of whimsical anecdotes, salty stories and outrageous subject matter.

“A supremely confident, gifted comic” - The New Zealand Herald.

He will be taking his own headline show around the UK next year.

“This is going to be a fantasic show,” said Laughing Stock co-ordinator Catherine Barnes.  “People who went to see Frankie Boyle were bowled over by Craig. I still can’t quite believe we’ve booked a comedian who is doing such major gigs, when we’re such a tiny venue.

“Added to that, we have a further line up that in other circumstances, would all be headlines.”

Also featuring at Laughing Stock, at Tavistock’s Royal British Legion, is Dan Wright, Dan is best known as one-half of the double-act 'Electric Forecast'.

Together with double-act partner, Steve Marsh, he has appeared in a numerous television shows for BBC 3, Ch4, Ch5, MTV, SKY, ITV & E4. Dan and Steve have also co-devised a couple of magazine-style shows for Sky. He was also star of cult children’s series Big Cook Little Cook.

Observational stand up Andrew Watts has been described as “pure genius.”

“His social awkwardness is what makes him funny"” says chortle.co.uk.

MC for the evening will be Sal Stevens.

Tickets cost £8 and will be available on the door on a first come, first served basis, but reservations can be made on  0755 418 5592. Doors open 7.30pm for 8pm, Thursday 29 July.  Royal British Legion 2 King Street, Tavistock, Devon PL19 0DS
